My name is Ken Skaggs. I am a writer, web designer, musician, and Christian entrepreneur. I have a strong internet presence and always stand behind what I sell. I am here to stay. Ebooks have been a blessing from God to me, a way for me to support my family of seven. Between that, the Google ads, and my writing, I have been able to eek out a meager living with my computer. I've been getting better and better at it over the past seven years or so.
I bought my first computer in 1999, and had no idea what to do next. I knew I wanted to be a writer ever since College, so I was determined to learn how to work it. I was a career truck driver for about twenty years at that point. In 2000, I wrote a book about Safe City Driving, and wound up getting hired as a columnist for Ten Four Magazine. Then, I studied web design and started building websites, and over the next couple of years, I put a few sites together.
In 2006, I was still driving a truck. My sites were getting a lot of hits now. I knew there was a way to turn that into a little money, somehow, but it took me a while to find Google Adsense. (Notice all the Google ads?) I make a little money every time anyone clicks on those ads. It's not much per page, but considering all the pages I have, and keep adding, it's starting to add up.
In 2007, I started selling ebooks. I was selling on eBay on the side, so I figured ebooks were a great addition to what I was already doing. I bought all the ebooks I could find and put them on web pages individually, which was a lot of work. I'd sell one here and there, but nothing to write home about. I had about fifty pages of individual ebooks, selling one or two a month each. Then, my server crashed and I lost it all. I still had all the ebooks, but lost the web pages. So I got a better server at GoDaddy, and keep copies of all my stuff now.
As I studied the internet, what other ebook sellers were doing, and what was working for me, I decided the easiest thing to do was also the best thing for my customers. I put all of my ebooks into one humongous package and offered it for the lowest price. Then, I added more ebooks, a gigantic webmaster package of templates, scripts, logo's, etc. And since I did that, I've been selling them almost daily.
I know there are a few other people out there doing the same thing, but the awesome thing about the internet is, it's endless. Every day, thousands of first-timers go online. There will always be a market for ebooks. Give it a try, won't you? It's only $10. And even if you never build a website or sell a single ebook, you will have aquired a virtual library, for a sawbuck.

150K ebooks for $10!
