But
I decided to give them away for Free! And tell you why.
In
March, 2007, I started this ebook website, my own home
business on the internet. I had been selling my own audio book, Ten Keys to Safe City Driving for about
a year, and selling on Ebay for six years already, but I wanted
to expand my horizons. So,
I started buying every ebook I could get my hands on, as you
will see if you browse my site.
Plus, I keep getting more and adding them, so check back often.
The
problem with ebooks is this- many of them are outdated or underpriced.
But, of course those ebook sellers don't tell you that part. But I will because I believe an
educated comsumer is the best customer.
It's funny how the value of something can be ruined by spreading it too thin.
Take Autoresponder
Magic* for example. It retails for $24.97 but everyone
who buys it gets resell rights. Not
only can they sell it for any price they want, they can even
give it away. It really is an
awesome book with a wealth of knowledge in it and definitely
worth the $24.97, but why should
anyone pay that for it when they can get it for $9.95 all day
long on the web? Or, even free
in some cases? This is just one example, there are literally
thousands more just as good and
just as cheap!
On
the other side, is a different problem. Some ebooks do not come with resell rights. The sad
part is, most of them aren't the good ones! What's an ebook seller to do? What some of them
do, but I strictly do NOT recommend this, is, they sell them anyway, with or without rights.
I myself will not do that. But I did come up with a great idea!
As
I read (and read and read) most of these ebooks myself, I realized
that there still is good money
to be made with them, you just have to learn how to package
them, and/or learn how to write them yourself. That's why I
sell huge packages of ebooks
for the price of one! This gives my customers a great deal
and it helps me keep the sales rolling.
