When Todd said that, it caused Tony to relax. However, he didn't put
the gun away. he just rested his hand on the seat, still holding it.
"Alright
then Alfred, where's the shit you said you had. And what is it anyway?" Tony asked.
"I'll tell you when you get out."
He pointed the gun
in Todds face. "You'll tell me now."
"Alright, but put that
thing away. If I have a heart attack, you wont get anything." He grabbed his heart, as
if he was going to have one. "It's up here. Make a right."
He made
a right and then Todd said "Ok. Stop right here." And Tony stopped by an alley. "Go
look in the big dumpster, past all those little garbage cans."
"What
am I looking for?" Tony asked.
"You'll know. It's huge. Just promise
me that you'll see that Angel gets it." Todd said, trying to look sincere.
Tony got out and walked over to the garbage can and Todd scooted over and put it in drive,
but held the brakes. He wanted to see the look on Tonys face. Tony walked over and opened the
dumpster. He cringed and jumped back, gagging and coughing. Then he looked at Todd and shook
his head "no".
Todd took off then. He turned the first corner quickly
and then parked. He got out, cut through a yard and snuck up on Tony. He tossed a small rock
into the dumpster and made Tony look in there. Todd ran up to Tony and hit him in the head
with the handle of his knife and Tony passed out, instantly.
Todd grabbed
his gun and threw it on a roof. He took the cell phone too. He went through his pockets and
found what looked like about two thousand dollars, which he kept. He put the cell phone in
his pocket too. Then he tied Tonys hands together with a coat hanger that he found. He peeked
into the dumpster and the bodies were still there alright.
Todd picked up
an empty beer can and poured a couple of drops on Tonys face. "Wake up, stupid."
He kicked him in the thigh, giving him a charley horse. "Wake up."
Tony cringed from the charley horse and woke up. "What the..."
"Alright.
Now, you listen to me." Todd demanded. "You tell your fucking boss that I'm coming
to get him. He went too far this time. He could've left it alone, but he had to think he owned
everything and everybody. I went easy on him the day I killed a few of his boys. I was just
getting started"
Tony broke in. "You're the guy that everybody's
talking about? You killed all those guys last week? They call you Santa Claus. I really thought
you was an old man. So all that's a disguise then?"
Todd smiled through
his beard. "Yeah, I'm Santa Claus and I have a present for your boss. I call it, the dummy
award. Because he's so stupid. Do you want to know how stupid he is? He went looking for me
at my old address. He sent some hitmen in there looking for me and all they got was the wrong
guy. I don't even know that guy. He might as well look for me here. At least there is a chance
to find me here. But anyway, here's the message for Angel. I want you to tell him I'm coming.
And tell everybody that hangs around him that I will kill them all, if they try to get in my
way. And if you have any brains, you'll be gone too. I took your money, so maybe that will
put you out of business."
Tonys eyes opened. "You took my money?
Awe, man. Angels gonna kill me for sure now. That was his money."
"Oh,
well." Todd said. " I need it worse than he does. Anyway, if you have any brains,
you'll just leave town. I got your cell phone, so I can just call Angel myself now."
Just then, Tony got his hands free and rolled away from Todd and reached in his coat for his
gun, which wasn't there.
Todd pulled a knife and stepped in quick, pointing
it in Tonys face. "Give me a reason. Just give me a fucking reason to cut your throat."
Tony gave up. "Alright, alright, don't do it. I ain't gonna try anything.
Just take it easy."
"I will today. But if I see you again, you're
fair game." And with that Todd left. He walked the long way around to his car and looked
back to see if Tony was following him. He wasn't.
